Our Mission
“Our mission is to empower individuals and strengthen the well-being of Rhode Island’s community by providing compassionate, inclusive, and accessible support through Community Health Workers, Peer Recovery Specialists, and healthcare professionals. We are dedicated to promoting health equity, improving access to care, fostering resilience by connecting individuals to resources, empowering individuals to take control of their health and wellbeing by offering health education and promotion. We believe in giving individuals a voice and a choice, ensuring they have control over their path. By addressing the unique needs of each person, we strive to create a healthier, more vibrant community where everyone can heal, succeed, and thrive.”
Our Team
Our team is made up of experienced professionals passionate about community health and wellness. Community Health Workers serve as trusted leaders who connect individuals to essential services, promote health equity, and foster cultural understanding. We also have a Licensed Clinical Social Worker on staff who provides clinical expertise and guidance to support mental health and overall well-being. Additionally, Peer Recovery Specialists bring lived experience to offer valuable peer support and encouragement for those on their recovery journey.
